All mirrors listed have our anti-corrosion edge seal. All except Model 6 have a one-hand aimer and a red night reflective back. All have a 48" nylon or polyester lanyard. The 3" x 5" plastic mirrors are in 0.010" clear resealable vinyl envelopes. Other mirrors are in 0.004" or 0.006" clear resealable polyethylene envelopes. Exceptions are Models 21A and 23A which are in hinged foam-lined buoyant rigid cases (nonmetalic). All plastic envelopes have external eyelets for securing to equipment lines. The rigid cases have bronze spring snap hooks for the same purpose. With the signal mirrors, are illustrated instructions on high wet-strength paper, to supplement those printed on the mirror back. Also, a small amount of anti-static cleaner is provided. Our mirrors are made in the U.S.A. by us. Our rigid cases are made in Hong Kong by others, and modified by us. Our bronze snap hooks are made in Italy by others, and modified by us. Each of our plastic signal mirrors is tested with a digital lightmeter on an 80 foot dark range, and must produce a signal at least 70% as strong as that of the same nominal size U.S. military issue glass signal mirror, or be rejected. Most do better--from low 70's to mid 80's. Plastic mirrors made by others ranged from 11% to 69% in our tests.

| 21 | 3" x 5" x 9/32" non-buoyant. In resealable plastic envelope, with
3/16 closed-cell polyethylene foam liner for shock resistance and
buoyancy. 6.8 oz. |

| 21A | 3" x 5" same as Model 21 except in hinged rigid foam-
lined buoyant case (nonmetalic). 10 oz. Overall 6" x 4½" x 1¼". Nonmetallic case deteriorates quickly in water, but mirror lanyard attaches directly to buoyancy foam, allowing recovery. Also, a heavy-duty resealable plastic bag is provided for case protection. |
$44.00 |
| 23 | 4" x 5" x 9/32" non-buoyant. In resealable plastic envelope, with
3/16 closed-cell polyethylene foam liner for shock resistance and
buoyancy. 8.0 oz. |

| 23A | 4" x 5" same as Model 23 except in hinged rigid
foam-lined buoyant case, same as for Model 21A. 12 oz. Overall 6" x 4½" x 1¼". |
$47.00 |
| 24 | 2" x 3" x 9/32" non-buoyant. In resealable plastic envelope, with

NOTE: For $7.00 more, I will add an external small bronze spring snap hook, attached with a stainless steel split ring, to the mirror envelope. This increases weight by 0.35 oz. It allows easy attachment to lanyard, equipment line, etc. Not available on Models 3 and 3D. Already included on rigid case. Available on plastic bag for rigid case, as an extra.
The following pouches are of woven nylon, with Velcro flap closures. They can be worn on one's belt if desired. With the large size I include a removable 3/16" thick polyethylene foam liner which provides buoyancy and shock resistance when used with glass or non-buoyant plastic mirrors. For the small size, this liner is 1/8" thick. The liner must be removed before inserting one of our buoyant plastic mirrors. The pouches are made in Korea. Color is olive drab, military camouflage or black (no choice). These pouches are not watertight, but this is of little consequence since our mirrors are sealed against water penetration.

When my present stock is exhausted, I plan to discontinue offering medium woven nylon pouches for the 3" x 5" mirrors. The last few batches have been too tight-fitting to allow easy insertion and removal of a buoyant mirror, or of a non-buoyant one plus buoyancy liner. For a while, I ripped out the end stitching and installed monel staples, to expand the capacity slightly, but this was not entirely satisfactory. At a customer's suggestion, I obtained some 1/8" closed cell neoprene sheet with woven nylon backing on one side. I am now making adequately sized medium pouches from this material. As a bonus, it provides shock resistance and buoyancy without a liner being needed. Color is black, with a couple of high visibility orange rectangles glued on.
